a summer stay

we plan to travel with 5th wheel about the end of may or first part of june. plans are to sty until the end of aug or first part of sept.

looking for full hook up camp ground.

like to wildlife watching, panning gold and trout fishing from small streams or creeks.

25 years ago i did all this in the pierce area.

so a campground decent rates from sandpoint on down to pierce would be great.

You might enjoy spending a few days at Farragut State Park, about midway between Sandpoint and CDA. The park is built on a former military base and there is a lot of history there in addition to some great camping.

check out sam owen state park in Hope Idaho. Its on the lake and its in a wildlife preserve. The deer will eat right out of your hand. You can fish in lightning creek near clark fork and search for gemstones along hwy 200 east of clark fork The BW Edgewater also has an RV park in Sandpoint right next to city beach and downtown if you want more shopping and dining. If you can handle the train which runs close by, then you cant beat the location cause its close to everything in sandpoint.
