Hello, I am considering a position in the Mountain Home area, can anyone tell me about Prairie Idaho?
Thanks

Prairie, Idaho?I have lived in Idaho for 30 years. Mt. Home is a interesting place. It is on the ';High Desert';. Thus a very arid climate. Very cold winters(lows 0-30s) and very hot(100 in july and aug) summers. completely surrounded by sagebrush. With that said it is within an hour or two of alpine regions ie sun valley etc.
Best of luck.
Prairie, Idaho?Prairie is a tiny, tiny settlement in the hills above Mountain Home/Boise. I don%26#39;t know if there%26#39;s even a store there any more, or if it%26#39;s gone the way of Hill City.
Mountain Home, Idaho is nothing like Mountain Home, Arkansas! :)

If you follow Warm Springs Road, out of KEtchum, you will end up in Prairie, and then turn left to catch the road back to KEtchum. I took the girls on a ';hot spring adventure'; (idaho is filled with hot springs) and we went thru Prairie, and i dont%26#39; think there was hardly a sign...that is why we love Idaho. enjoy
