snow at christmas?
Idaho is a great place to see snow. But, no one can predict the weather. I have lived here for 30 years and we have snow at xmas. Look at this website, my friend has a large piece of property, 8 miles out in the woods, and rents out one of the houses. It used to be the brothel area in the old days. She has wonderful taste and has made the houses into spectacular show pieces. They have a sauna right on the river, hot tubs, and it is all lit up with lamps...it is absoultly a wonderland. That would be fun to sit by the river and watch the snow fly...enjoy

snow at christmas?Idaho has a wide variety of climates, some areas are unlikely to see snow at Christmas others very likely. In North Idaho you have a pretty good chance of seeing snow at Christmas in the towns and more of a chance as you go into the mountains. A good place in North Idaho to be a pretty sure bet for snow would be at Priest Lake, probably the most beautiful large lake in Idaho. There are a couple of resorts on the lake that have cabins available. The resorts are Elkins Resort www.elkinsresort.com and Hills Resort www.hillsresort.com
The closest Airport with airline service would be Spokane, Washington. Priest Lake is about a 90 minute drive from the Spokane Airport.
