We are two families that are planning a weekend to Silversood Theme Park. We would like to tent camp while we visit. Any nice campgrounds in the area? Thank you

I%26#39;m sure you already know, but just in case....Silverwood doesn%26#39;t open till mid-May. I only write that because I%26#39;ve heard of people coming up on Spring break to the theme park -- very disappointing!

Silverwood is about 20 minutes north of Coeur d%26#39;Alene and is very easy to find right on Hwy 95 in Athol.

I%26#39;ve heard the best (and actually one of the closest) is in Farragut State Park.

Another popular one is the Coeur d%26#39;Alene KOA, which is in the Wolf Lodge area. It%26#39;s a little bit of a drive though -- maybe 35-45 minutes.

I don%26#39;t have any personal experience with any of them, but from what I hear, those are the two best in the area.
