Old west themed lodging and/or dining near Boise?

Planning a visit to Boise at the end of the month. Was sad to learn the Idanha has closed. Any suggestions on fun historic places to stay and/or eat within about 20 minutes of Boise? There was a cool place near Ogden - a restaurant with booths like covered wagons. Anything like that in SW Idaho?

Hi

In downtown Boise there is a hotel called Anniversary Inn it is upscale and has themed rooms they might have a western room.

Boise is so new and modern not much western left close by

but a 1 and 1/2 hr drive up to Idaho City. would be a great day

old historic buildings good western grub and on weekends they have a shoot out on Main street.

When my Mom and a friend visited us in Boise, they stayed at the J.J. Shaw bed and breakfast, http://www.jjshaw.com/, and loved it. It%26#39;s 100 years old, in great shape, and charming and refined in a comfortable, not-stuffy style. It%26#39;s within walking distance of downtown Boise.

If you go to Idaho City, try breakfast at Calamity Jayne%26#39;s. You get basic decent food, plus an interesting mixture of rural-living locals, recreational visitors visiting from Boise, and out of town visitors.
