We%26#39;re staying at the Morning Star Resort in June on the way home from Yellowstone. An opinions? Is there much to do in Kellogg?
overnight stay
If you are outdoors oriented there are a number of things to do in the Kellogg area. The Trail of the Coeur d%26#39; Alenes bike path is next to the Morning Star, here is its web site: …idaho.gov/parks/trailofthecoeurdalenes.aspx
The gondola to the Silver Mountain ski area may also be running and would provide great views and hiking opportunities. Silver Mountain also may have their water park operating at the time, which is not to far from the Morning Star. On your drive west from Kellogg towards Spokane you may want to also stop at the Old Mission State Park which has a Catholic mission built in the 1800%26#39;s to look it, its just west of Kellogg at Cataldo. Hope this helps.

You%26#39;re also going to be very close to the historic city of Wallace, Idaho

If you%26#39;re curious you can visit the Bordello museum in Wallace, take a mine tour and just talk a walk around the very small but picturesque city. Have lunch at the 1313 Club which has good food and a nice atmosphere. I like Wallace and it%26#39;s literally minutes away from Kellogg.
Thanks! Wallace looks kinda neat. The kids would like it.
