I am planning a trip to raft the snake river and do some fishing with my sons (14 and 18). Any suggestions on rafting companies? I have viewed the websites and talked with several (including Hughes, Voyageurs, Idaho Afloat, Hells Canyon Raft). They all sound great, but wanted another%26#39;s opinion. Also, We will have several days before the trip to explore and do other things. We will be flying in to Boise. I%26#39;d love suggestions! Thanks.

Another operator you may want to consider is ROW Adventures (www.rowadventures.com), main reason I added them is that their Headquaters is here in Coeur d%26#39; Alene, Idaho with a focus on Idaho white water adventures.

I have floated with Hells Canyon Raft twice. One trip was on the Snake River in Hells Canyon, the other on the Salmon River. Overall, I was very satisfied with my trips and had fun fishing the entire time. The guides were expert outfitters that knew of some awesome places to fish on both rivers. It was kind of ridiculous how often I got hits at the spots they recommended. When you actual grow tired of reeling fish in by noon each day, the value they provide becomes instantly clear. Plus, the owners Kurt and Heidi are just great people. They really put effort into making the trip special for both young and old. I think that will help you since you plan on bringing teens along. If you have any special requests (in which my group had many) they were very accommodating. I feel like it made the difference between an ok time and my group having a great time.
