Wild water or Silver Wood?

Which is better for kids 6yrs and younger in the

summer?

I am looking at 1 day as a stop over.

Wild water or Silver Wood?

Would have to go with Silverwood Theme Park as the best choice unless you%26#39;re short on time.

Wild Waters is conveniently located in town -- Silverwood Theme Park is north on Hwy 95 about 25 minutes, but Silverwood is much larger and probably more fun for the whole family. Neither are cheap, so bring lots of money.

We had a really great time in Silverwood with our kids last summer. Surprisingly, I found the prices to be reasonable, for a theme park. (vs our Disney trip the year before!)

The water park has a nice ';tame'; area for smaller children to play and soak up the fun, and there are some fun rides for children their age in the theme park as well.

Not only is Silverwood somewhat on the inexpensive side, you can get some deals from local motels, regional motels (ask around in Spokane), etc for reduced admission.

I either need to get out more often or make more money...

Great advice from the above poster regarding looking for discounted admission tickets to Silverwood. Since ';inexpensive'; is a matter of opinion, for the record, admission for one day is $36.99 for an adult and $19.99 for kids 3-7 years old. Add in parking and food and you should plan on at least $150 for the day for a family of four.

No matter what, it%26#39;s a lot of fun and you should have a great time with the family.

Also, when we were there last year, the Costco in CDA has discounted passes for sale. I think the savings was $3 or $4 per person, which is certainly worthwhile for a family.
