Trip to Yellowstone National Park from Seattle

I have three kids (7, 3 and 0) and am considering 5 ~7 days trip to Yellowstone at the end of June using my Odessey from Seattle.

I am thinking about spending two full days at the park (2 nights and 3 days) and leave the rest on my way in and out. Trying to get a lodging at North Yellowstone. Would this be good spot? One place I have in mind is Coeur D%26#39;Alene.

Any suggestion on where I can stop by? I heard Glacier National Park is also a good place to hit, but it seems too much of drive.

Any suggestions are welcome here.

Thanks, Brian

Coeur d%26#39; Alene would be a nice stop, lots to see and do, but you would still have a long drive from Coeur d%26#39; Alene onto Yellowstone (450 miles).

West Yellowstone has many more accommodations.

Given your limited time, I%26#39;d focus on Yellowstone with a side trip to Grand Tetons.

If you%26#39;re just looking for an overnight stop on your way to the park I would suggest going farther than coeur d%26#39;alene the first night. We usually stop in Missoula.
