We are looking into making CdA our tip this year and I have a few ??? before I decide.
1- We have a boat and will be looking to wakeboard early and often. Lake CdA good spot for this??
2- Hows the night life and can you really drive a boat to the downtown area?
3- Looking at lake house rentals. Any areas we should avoid staying in?
4- If we come late August early September how safe a bet is the weather??
Thanks for any responses
Guys weekend in Sept...
1. Lake is major water sport area, the water is warmer than either Pend Orielle Lake or Priest Lake here in North Idaho.
2. Downtown has the local night life may not compare to Seattle but its not bad, there is a public boat ramp and dock directly adjacent to downtown at the end of Third Street.
3. West side of lake has easier driving access to Coeur d%26#39; Alene, east side more quiet and laid back. Northern half of lake has more boat traffic and offer better access to Coeur d%26#39; Alene.
4. Weather should be fine in late August, early September, generally warm days (upper 70%26#39;s to mid 80%26#39;s) and cool nights (lower 50%26#39;s). If you come after Labor day crowds will be less during the week.
