Will be visiting Boise on business and staying downtown. What kind of nightlife is there? I%26#39;m from a big city so I can%26#39;t spend my nights in a hotel room.
Night Life in Boise?
If you%26#39;re young and ';normal';, and it%26#39;s Friday or Saturday night, get to 6th %26amp; Main... 10 different establishments within a block. I%26#39;ll leave it to others to decide which is best, as I%26#39;m not exactly a young buck anymore.
Problem: Sunday-Tuesday, pretty much dead. There%26#39;s maybe a handful of places open after 6 around there.
Also, south of Front Street, the Big Easy (possibly soon to be renamed) usually has bands, sometimes a DJ, and I%26#39;m not sure if they%26#39;ve lost their liquor license or not (good old Idaho politics). If anything, these days, they seem to have more bands around on days downtown is otherwise dead.
Night Life in Boise?
Hi
they don%26#39;t roll up the sidwalks anymore
actually there is quite a lot to do in Boise.
depends on your age and what you like
there are lots of resturants and bars downtown with live music.
the sun doesn%26#39;t set until almost 10 in the summer on 8th st. there are lots of open air patios to sit outside on the cool evenings.
on weds at the grove they have alive at 5 a free music concert and party at the grove downtown.
try the Shakespear festival it runs all summer they have a great open air theater next to the river it is great to take a picnic lunch set on the grass and enjoy good live theater.as the sun sets.
I think you will be surprised how much there is to do here.at night.
boise is fun and lots to do. swakeeka can advise...the red feather is the best place we have found and it is around the main street. here is a website for things to do in boise.
