restaurants

We will be traveling in this area come spring, any good places to eat/stay?

restaurants

We stayed at the Lazy Trout Lodge in Island Park...a great place. Had a private cabin with kitchen and real satellite tv. They have a delicious restaurant also. everything is homemade %26amp; fresh with an unique and exciting menu. We were only 15 minutes to yellowtone park. Island Park is beautiful, close to alot of activities yet very quiet. We will be going back. They have a web site www.lazytroutlodge.com.

Island Park has lots of places to stay. We stayed at Grandma%26#39;s Cabin www.grandmascabin.com and ate at the Trouthunter and A-Bar Supper Club. the area has lots of thing to do right there but Yellowstone was the highlight.

Ponds Lodge was by far the best place we have eaten at in Island Park.

We%26#39;ve stayed at Pond%26#39;s Lodge (just north of the downtown area on Hwy 20) and really enjoyed it. Reasonable rates. You can get individual cabins (and, I believe, hotel rooms as well?). The restaurant there is very good, and they have a full bar which is pretty fun.

I will second Pond%26#39;s Lodge. Great place. If you don%26#39;t mind driving 30 minutes or so, there are some great places in west yellowstone montana. There is a great place that has crab legs. I can%26#39;t remember the name, though.

Have a summer house there. The Trout Hunter is excellent food.

Don%26#39;t go to Anglers Inn. Food use to be good, but new owners (July 2006) we ate there and they charged us for a bottle of wine we sent back because it was bad. 53.00. Said once they opened it, we were stuck with it? The food was not very tasty either.

New owners of Lazy Trout Lodge good cooks really nice people must try
