The area junior highs are having their playoffs this week. O%26#39;Leary is hosting, as the number one seed. Come out and support your team! If Jerome goes up against O%26#39;Leary again, it will be a particularly exciting game because that was the only team that beat O%26#39;Leary.

CSI is putting on Shakespeare%26#39;s ';A Comedy of Errors.'; We saw it Saturday. Their use of masks was unconventional, I can%26#39;t say it worked for me, but the set and costumes were superb. It%26#39;s running again this weekend.

I thought I should be more accurate, so I have an 8th grade boys%26#39; schedule here. I guess O%26#39;Leary 7th grade had a 12-0 season and O%26#39;Leary 8th grade finished 11-1. Both Wood River teams play at Stuart tomorrow. The winner of the Stuart 8th grade match plays O%26#39;Leary for a berth in the finals. I don%26#39;t have the 7th grade schedule.

O%26#39;Leary might be the largest middle school in the state, so even with an extensive bench, it%26#39;s very competitive to get on any of the teams and O%26#39;Leary always dominates the other schools. I know families that send their kids out of Twin so they can participate in sports and other activities. The Twin High School is in fact the largest in the state, I believe. It will be interesting to see how the dynamics change when the high new school in finished.
