We will be staying in Boise for only one night on our way from the Dalles to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. We are looking for a nice hotel in town with comfy beds. Any ideas? Any must see items we could do in one afternoon/evening?

Try the Grove downtown and just walk around. Go to the market area and visit the university area. Boise is very cool.

Statehouse Inn is very nice and is right downtown. I%26#39;ve stayed there... the beds are comfy! I%26#39;m with the last poster, it%26#39;s entertaining just to walk around downtown on a summer night. You might be lucky and hit one of the downtown festivals which are held at the Center on the Grove!

Both of those hotels are nice. If you like Bed and Breakfasts, you could try the Idaho Heritage Inn, I have heard really good things about them.
Also, if you are here on a Wednesday night, check out ';Alive After Five'; at the Boise Center on the Grove. Live music, food, art, beer, dancing and fun people!
Go see a movie in the Egyptain Theater downtown too. It is pretty cool and really old.
Go eat breakfast at Goldy%26#39;s! My mouth waters just thinking about it.
