My fiance and I live in Seattle, but are planning to get married in Coeur d%26#39;Alene. We want to have an outdoor wedding and would love some ideas about pretty and inexpensive locations that would work for both the ceremony %26amp; reception. Near the lake would be preferable. Any ideas?

At the end of the Idaho State Park - Coeur d%26#39; Alene Parkway is an area called Higgins Point which has a nice picnic area and access to the Lake, plenty of parking but is close to Interstate 90 so there would be some road noise, not sure if it can be reserved but here is the web site: idahoparks.org/parks/coeurdaleneparkway.aspx
Another possibility, but its not outside, but very close to the lake in the Fort Grounds area which is near the city park would be the Fort Sherman Chapel, here is the web site: www.museumni.org/chapel.html
You may also want to check with the City of Coeur d%26#39; Alene Parks Department, I believe they have group areas in their two parks near the lake in the downtown area (City Park and McEuen Field). Here is the city web site:
