Help! We need a plan for our honeymoon!

Me and my fiance will get married December 30th and fly out for Boise on the 31st. We plan to stay from the 31st on through the morning of January 5th. We would like to have some sort of itenerary to go by to help us out so our honeymoon won%26#39;t waste away as we try to find things to do. If you have any suggestions on what to do or some places we should check out, please let me know.

Thank you!!

Hey Kadys, where are you going to be staying for your honeymoon?

If you are staying downtown, Boise has a wonderful First Night celebration on New Year%26#39;s Eve. I%26#39;ve never been there but I%26#39;ve heard it%26#39;s great.

If you like to ski, Bogus Basin is a short drive up into the Boise Foothills.

I%26#39;ll post more as I think of more activities!

Best regards,

Pug

kadys,

You MUST go to the Mona Lisa Restaurant in Nampa. It is the most romantic and tasty dinner you can find in the area. The only bummer is that it is in Nampa, but it is worth the short drive (about 20 minutes from Boise). It%26#39;s a fabulous fondue restaurant offering a 4 course meal and the ambiance is wonderful.

You also MUST stay at the Anniversary Inn, located downtown by BSU. They have themed rooms romantic and silly. IE: Swiss Family Robinson room where your bed is in a tree, Treasure Island where your bed is a massive pirate boat and they also have Sleeping Beaauty%26#39;s Castle which is a two story castle plus the Romeo and Juliet room which is very romantic and picturesque. You can find both the Anniversary Inn and Mona Lisa online.

Other things to do:

I like the Discovery Center (hands-on science exhibit, very fun and interesting), you could take a tour of the old Idaho Penitentiary, The Cafe Bellisima offers cheap salsa dancing lessons before the Friday and Saturday night dances. The Funny Bone Comedy Club brings in some awesome acts and I%26#39;m sure there will be some sporting events you could go to (BSU games, Steelheads Hockey games etc) or you could go Ice Skating at Idaho Ice World. You can check out the Big Easy%26#39;s website to see what concerts are going on while you are here (or ICTickets.com). The Boise Art Museum and the Ann Frank Memorial are worth stopping by and they are both by the Boise Train Tours that will take you on a little train tour of downtown Boise. Go to Moons to get a famous milkshake and go to Hyde Park to get a bite to eat. If you guys enjoy going dancing, I would suggest Dirty Little Rottys or China Blue. Rottys is wild country dancing with a mechanical bull and China Blue offers more of the top 40%26#39;s music and some fun dancing.

Have fun! If you have any specific questions, my email is jamieandmike4@juno.com
