As well as the Sourdough Lodge (which I believe is the old South Fork Lodge) there is the New Haven Lodge, which has cabin rentals if I remember correctly. Lowman is really in the middle of nowhere, not much at all in the way of services, but it%26#39;s beautiful country!

Hi Lowman is about 2 hr drive from Boise.
right on the south fork of the Payette river
not much services there try Idaho City 45 min, away
or Grand Jean lodge 25 min towards Stanley.
that area is a favorite Sunday drive for me.
there are lots of natural Hot springs there.
What time of the year are you visiting it is possible to get snow in the mountains any time after labor day.
